​Port Clinton, OH – OSS Joint Solid Waste Management District awarded Main Street Port Clinton and the City of Port Clinton a $7.127.00 grant to purchase flower pots made from recycled material that will be placed in our downtown area.

 Walleye Festival Awarded Ottawa County Visitors Bureau Marketing Grant
Port Clinton, OH – Main Street Port Clinton is pleased to announce that they have been awarded a tourism marketing grant from the Ottawa County Visitor’s Bureau to promote the Walleye Festival. 2018 marks the 38th anniversary of the Walleye Festival which runs May 24 to May 28. 
 All proceeds from the Walleye Festival are used to revitalize downtown historic Port Clinton.  Main Street Port Clinton is a non-profit organization striving to promote, preserve, and improve downtown historic Port Clinton.  For more information, please contact Main Street Port Clinton at 419.734.5503.

​Port Clinton, OH – Main Street Port Clinton awarded $15,000 to downtown building owners and business owners to improve their property, positively influence economic growth, and enhance aesthetic appeal to our historic downtown.  Main Street Port Clinton is pleased to announce the 2018 grant recipients of the Downtown Improvement Grant program:
         
-    Dublin Commercial – New windows
-    115 Madison Street of Port Clinton – Copper window boxes
-    Jolor, Inc – Brick repair & tuck pointing
-    McCarthy’s – Outdoor seating area
-    Northern Exposure Gallery & Candle Co. – Front façade improvements
 
Main Street Port Clinton is excited to partner with downtown building owners and businesses on this exciting project. We have distributed $90,000 in the past several years; all made possible because of the Walleye Festival.

Join us for a Ribbon Cutting Planned to Celebrate the Grand Opening of Affordable Lawn & Garden, Wheelchair & Mobility Scooter Repair
 
The Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce and Main Street Port Clinton are pleased to announce a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Monday, February 12th to celebrate the Grand Opening of Affordable Lawn & Garden, Wheelchair & Mobility Scooter Repair located at 4125 E. Kirk Road. Suite 37 in Port Clinton.  The Open House begins at Noon with the Ribbon Cutting at 12:15pm. 
 
Affordable Lawn & Garden, Wheelchair & Mobility Scooter Repair will service and repair residential equipment of most brands; MTD, John Deere, Craftsman, Toro, Wheelhorse Simplicity and others.  They also service and repair manual wheelchairs, electric / power wheelchairs and mobility scooters of most brands.  Pickup and delivery is offered. Hours:  February thru April 30th – Monday thru Friday 8am-5:30pm and Saturday 8am-1pm.  Starting May 1st thru Labor Day – Monday thru Saturday 8am-5:30pm and Sunday 9am-1pm.

Port Clinton, OH - The Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for their Annual 2018 Awards. To download a nomination form, please visit www.portclintonchamber.com and click on the annual dinner events tab.  Nominees will be reviewed by the Award Selection Committee.  The recipients of the awards will be announced at the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Awards Program in April.  Please forward your nominees to the Port Clinton Area Chamber of Commerce by Friday, February 9.
